The hotel does not offer a shuttle service from the airport. There are a number of shuttle, taxi, limousine, or public rail service options available. We encourage attendees to network prior to arriving in Atlanta and arranging to share the expense of transportation to the Wyndham, or consider the MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rail Transportation System) for less expensive alternatives.

The hotel does run a shuttle (7 AM to 10:30 PM) to MARTA, which you can catch at the airport, and if you're flying in this is probably the easiest way all around to get from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is on the Red line and the stop is SANDY SPRINGS. it will take approximately 35-40 minutes to get to the hotel via MARTA from the airport.  I

If taking MARTA and wanting a pickup , I'd suggest calling the hotel before the train leaves (or en route ) to let them know your expected arrival time. Phone for hotel is 1-770-955-1700.

NOTE:  If you come in after 7 PM  (I'd suggest probably 6:30), you need to take the Gold train to Lindbergh, then transfer to the Red line to continue to Sandy Springs. You will need a Breeze Card, which you can buy at the airport to take MARTA.

One single-trip ticket is currently $2.50, however if you are changing trains in the evening (see note above) you will need a Breeze Card. Verify dates and times to be sure trains are running during your time frames. MARTA can also be an option to help you explore other areas in Atlanta during your visit.

Seize The Opportunity
General Information
Wednesday, 09 January 2013 13:14

vintagehappynewyear_smWith the start of the New Year 2013, most will receive wishes for a happy and successful new year from friends and acquaintances. Many traditions this time of year are based on bringing luck or good fortune. The eating of various foods may be a tradition for bringing luck, Black eyed peas or green lentils represent coins or the green color of money, pork because pigs dig with their snout and it is said to represent forward movement or progress, or in some areas eating long uncut noodles is a wish for longevity.

The best advice any of us can give or receive is to look for and seize opportunities to make our own good luck.
